STBL, Solar Table Layout

Fill any site with string-true tables, roads and a complete GA summary, inside the AutoCAD your team already runs.

  • String-true by designTable size derived from your string length
  • Any site shapeConcave boundaries, exclusions and roads handled
  • Nothing new to buyRuns inside the AutoCAD you already have

Layout and electrical, agreed from the first click

Most layout tools place geometry first and leave the electrical design to catch up, and then the table size does not divide cleanly into a string. STBL works the other way. Feed it the module and inverter datasheets and the site temperatures, and it solves the voltage window, picks a string length that is table-buildable, and sets the table geometry from it: one full table is one string, and two half tables jumper into one. The layout is electrically correct before a single line is drawn.

What it places

  • Tables built from panel, columns and rows, or stamped from your own table drawing
  • Unlimited secondary table types, fitted widest-first only where a full table cannot go
  • Perimeter boundary road, offset and hatched
  • Internal road network, merged at crossings and clipped to the site
  • Row labels, tagged tables and an auto-placed summary

What you get back

  • Every table carries its ID, row, modules, kWp, area and geometry
  • Summary block: tables, modules, installed kWp, GCR, boundary and road lengths
  • String report: modules per string, strings per MPPT and per inverter
  • Plant projection: inverters required, last-inverter loading and a practical AC size window
  • A summary that refreshes itself after you delete tables

Tell us what it should also do

Nothing in the tool is a fixed assumption. Every dimension, rule, layer name and summary row is an input, so it can keep growing around the way your firm works: your title block and sheet standards, your layer and attribute conventions, extra summary fields, or a different export. Whatever would make this right for your firm, bring it to us, however specific to how your team works. If you can describe it, it is usually something we can build in.

One honest note. How much of it is worth automating is not something either of us should guess. We study your workflow first, your drawings, templates and standards, and then tell you plainly what can be fully automated, what is better left with your engineer, how long it takes and what it costs. Fixed scope, fixed price, agreed before anything is built.

Current scope

  • Fixed-tilt tables on a flat plan. Trackers, terrain following and east-west tables are not covered.
  • Pitch, tilt and azimuth are your inputs; the tool reports GCR rather than solving for it.
  • String sizing is a datasheet calculation for a design engineer to review. Cable sizing, protection and single-line design sit outside it.
  • Requires AutoCAD on Windows.

In development

  • Pitch and GCR solved from latitude and shading limits
  • Terrain-aware placement
  • Tracker and east-west table types
  • Deeper links across the toolkit: STBL already hands its electrical record to STRG, so tables, strings and inverters stay in agreement
